First it was Alex Pain, and now, Pedro has been added to the Pierre Cardin family.
IM spotted at the Pierre Cardin shop in Glorietta.
It was one magical night as Close Up held its Pyromusical finale last Saturday at the Mall of Asia grounds.
It is also the launching of their new song “Moving closer” by Never the Strangers. The music video was launched which stars Kapuso star Ian Batherson and IM’s very own Valerie Weigmann. Check out the video here.
They held a press launch at the Hongkong Emperor restaurant to introduce the new Close Up loveteam to the media. A short video was played that showed all the previous commercials of Close Up til Sam Milby’s commercial with Barbie Almalbis. It made us realize that Close Up never fails to provide us with romantic music videos that provides the close Up confidence.
After the video, they then played the newest addition to the list which will surely become another hit in this generation…
We all watched the music video and fell in love! Ian and Valerie sure has chemistry on the screen.
Here they are flashing their pearly whites after seeing the video themselves, both happy with their work.
Being interviewed by the hosts, everyone can see that they are confident to get closer.

Close Up Pyromusical, the grandest and most romantic musical fireworks show, concluded its six-week long spectacular pyromusical competition with a bang at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds.
The grand pyromusical festival which featured magnificent entries from Australia, Canada, China, Finland, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, and United Kingdom, wrapped up with the entry of Italy and a special exhibition from host country Philippines. The best and grandest of the 11 countries competing was also chosen and announced.
Making this much-awaited finale even brighter is a grand concert headlined by some of the country’s top bands and artists such as Rico Blanco, Barbie Almalbis and Gino Padilla who serenaded the audience with their Close Up hits “Come Closer”, “Just A Smile” and the classic “Closer You And I”, as well as their other chart-topping hits.
Highlight of the event was the launch of the new Close Up music video featuring the new Close Up song “Moving Closer”. The song was written and performed by the hottest and fast-rising pop-rock band Never The Strangers and was brought to life by Close Up’s newest faces Ian Batherson and Valerie Weignmann. The new music video carries the Close Up legacy of getting people closer.
What’s more, couples who attended Close Up Pyromusical’s grand finale got a chance to win romantic prizes, such as dinners for two (2) in some of the most romantic hotspots in the metro and Close Up gift packs, with the Close Up Get Closer photo contest by simply capturing their most kilig Close Up moments at the Close Up Pyromusical event and posting it on their Facebook wall or blogs.
With a grand fireworks spectacle, the fresh breath confidence to get closer and a new love anthem, the Close Up Pyromusical definitely delivered the most fantastic finale suited for the year’s most romantic event.
